Katie Yoner (she/her) is a stand-up comic and improviser based in Edmonton, and she is stoked to be making her Grindstone Comedy Festival debut! As a rising comic, she has toured across Canada in cities including Toronto, Calgary, Saskatoon, Vancouver, Winnipeg, and more, but her favorite place to perform is sweet sweet Edmonton. She was a finalist in Corus Entertainment’s $10,000 Funniest Canadian Contest, took 2nd Place at Yukyuks Standup Stand-off, and was recently featured in Santa Monica’s Bergamot Comedy Fest. Katie is also a mainstage improviser with Rapid Fire Theatre and Grindstone and tours her award-winning comedy show, Rat Academy.  Her jokes have been described as energetic and off-putting, and will be sure to leave you giggling and gnawing on the wooden lip of the stage.
